Guide to College Reading – Chapter 3
Reflection
Before
reading this chapter, I had already known about some context clues used in
sentences. I often use the context clues when they are available to me. I want
to know more about how to understand some of the hard words that don’t have
context clues. I learned that you can use contrasting to help define a word you
don’t know. I still want to know other helpful tools.
I agree with you on having problems with some words because they have either little or no context clues to help you figure out what they mean.
